The
newly appointed Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olarewaju Olawale
Ishola, paid a courtesy visit to Jordan 105.5 FM as part of efforts to
strengthen ties between the police and the media.
During
the visit, CP Ishola was warmly received by the station's CEO, Dr. Lanre
Johnson, along with the management and staff. The commissioner emphasized the
importance of media collaboration in promoting transparency and enhancing
public engagement with the police force. He highlighted the need for effective reporting
on police activities to foster trust and civic cooperation between the police
and the community.
In
response, Dr. Johnson praised the initiative, expressing Jordan FM’s commitment
to supporting the Lagos State Police Command. He assured CP Ishola of the
station's readiness to assist in enhancing police welfare and public
perception.
Dr.
Johnson also mentioned that Jordan FM has developed programs aimed at improving
police welfare, promoting entrepreneurship, and facilitating post-service
opportunities for officers.

Ishola expressed gratitude for the warm reception and extended an invitation to
the Jordan FM team for a reciprocal visit, signaling a new chapter of
collaboration between the Lagos police and the media.
