-Nigerians in Nigeria are mentally disturbed by brain sparks, a preponderance of who are commonly found in the cities

The growing population of mentally disturbed individuals in Nigeria is a matter of grave concern, and should be taken seriously by both the government and people of Nigeria. It is estimated that by the end of 2030, more than 90% of the entire population of the country will be mentally sick.

I have been privileged to work in a Psychiatric hospital, and I have done extensive research relating to the normal human behavior. And I have come to realize that it will be tough to manage a population of mentally disturbed individuals. This is also relative to the enduring tradition of get-rich-quick-and-die-young. It will amaze a lot of people to know that most Nigerians in Nigeria are mentally disturbed by brain sparks, a preponderance of who are commonly found in the cities.

Here are some of the common symptoms:

  v The symptoms are that they are easily irritated by every little frustration

  v They shout a lot

  v They do not tell the truth, even when it is starring them in the face

    v More often than not, they believe that they have the knowledge of everything when it is always otherwise 

  v They have solutions to every problem; but they are still dragging along 

  v A large percentage of the population is drawn to violence, a situation that    can easily result to bloodshed

   v They are commonly related to wealth acquisition than decent living or lifestyle

    

  v Majority of the population is driven by the hunger for riches, and yet they are not rich

These are some of the symptoms of insanity, and should be noticed closely.

The troubling aspect of it all is that it will get to a point where no one will be willing to identify or distinguish the insane population from the sane one. Surprisingly, Nigerians living outside of Nigeria do not display these psychiatric symptoms. Of course, this could be due, largely, to the fact that they are isolated from the source of the virus which causes insanity.

When it is difficult for people to accept a certain condition, then it becomes very challenging to find a lasting solution to it. The population is slowly growing to a boiling point, and may lead to a total fall of the entire nation. Most Nigerians are keen to make the wrong decision in terms of politics and policies.

What are the causes of this rise in insanity? This is caused by a virus, which causes a condition in the brain called encephalitis. Encephalitis is a situation whereby the brain gets swollen, and can lead to irrational decisions. This virus is transmitted by mosquitoes. The immune system is able to defend the body against this virus, but overtime the body system accommodates the virus as it becomes often difficult for the system to fight the antibody.

Nevertheless, there is a solution. And the only solution is for the government to embark on environmental rehabilitation. The authorities should make sure that the environment is well taken care of, and that the population is vaccinated against the virus.
